We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Systems Operations Team Manager to lead and manage Our Client’s technical team. This role requires a strong technical background, particularly in networks, Azure DevOps, and various commercial platforms such as CRM, accounting packages, time management tools, project management solutions, and website add-ons. The ideal candidate will possess excellent managerial and communication skills, with a focus on planning, tracking, and ensuring the successful delivery of IT support requests and short-term initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Information Systems Operations team, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Oversee and track IT support requests from internal clients, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
- Plan and prioritize resources effectively to meet business needs and manage workloads.
- Ensure adherence to established processes and protocols for handling support requests.
- Collaborate with team members, internal clients, and management to identify and implement innovative solutions.
- Communicate and consult with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide expert advice and solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and service delivery.
- Develop and maintain thorough documentation of processes and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the organization’s platforms.
Requirements:
- 5 + years of experience including 1+ year as Team Manager
- Proven experience in a technical leadership or management role within an IT operations environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of networks, Azure DevOps, and various commercial platforms, including CRM, accounting packages, time management tools, and project management solutions.
- Exceptional planning, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong consultative skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve targets and deliver results.
Would be a plus:
- Experience with ITIL or similar service management frameworks is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
