{"id":942,"date":"2024-06-28T11:16:31","date_gmt":"2024-06-28T09:16:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forcerecruitment.pl\/en\/?post_type=jobs&#038;p=942"},"modified":"2024-06-28T11:16:32","modified_gmt":"2024-06-28T09:16:32","slug":"head-of-qa-poland-remotely","status":"publish","type":"jobs","link":"https:\/\/forcerecruitment.pl\/en\/jobs\/head-of-qa-poland-remotely\/","title":{"rendered":"Head of QA &#8211; Poland, remotely"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are looking for an outstanding Head of QA to work alongside our CTO to drive our QA and testing strategy in the technology organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is an ideal opportunity for a QA expert looking to work in a high-velocity, high-impact environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Role<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This role reports directly into the CTO and will establish a new QA organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The successful candidate will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Line-manage, coach and mentor several QA engineers across multiple teams within the firm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Own and be accountable for driving our QA strategy firm-wide by maximising automation in the QA function and ensuring excellent coverage and auditability of testing for all our SaaS products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design, build and evolve test assets, frameworks and automation codebases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drive process improvement in the QA function (agile, devops, etc) within the firm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spearhead skills development and training initiatives in the QA organisation to ensure that our technology capabilities remain relevant and well-honed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be actively involved in recruiting and retaining talent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Act as a key point of contact to Product and Operations teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Write clear, self-documenting code<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are a problem solver, a pragmatist and a fast learner who is not dogmatic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have experience building modern web application test frameworks with TypeScript and Playwright.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have solid experience with DevOps and CI\/CD pipelines and version management systems (git).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have experience leading QA teams that can test modern web apps in cloud environments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have knowledge and interest in backend serverless architectures, including messaging and event sourcing, eventual consistency, and microservices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Think independently and love sharing your knowledge with others<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have excellent people, leadership, management and coaching skills with a proven track record of leading, managing and growing technology teams and organisations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have an excellent systems-oriented mindset with the ability to delve into deep detail to find bugs and squash them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have some experience working in mission-critical industries like finance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Probably have a technical degree and 5+ years of real-world development and\/or QA experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;We<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Are a small, dedicated team of smart, experienced engineers, product people, and business folks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Love Linux, Gitlab, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, Terraform, Playwright, React and Agile<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hate useless meetings, value your time, and enjoy a good work\/life balance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Value an informal, friendly, and supportive working culture with minimal hierarchy and no silos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are data-driven, and take product ideas from the whole team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work quickly to test and launch new ideas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Value beautiful user experiences<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Pay and Benefits<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive Salary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Equity Options<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pension<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health Insurance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Flexible working, remote or office-based working<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regular team outings and events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for an outstanding Head of QA to work alongside our CTO to drive our QA and testing strategy in the technology organisation.
